I’m a normal person... Just like you.
I’m not a big corporation. I’m just an average bloke named Peter with a wife, two sons, a mortgage, bills and, honestly, a job that I absolutely hated.
And yep… I’ve got some pretty shitty tattoos myself.
The kind of tattoos that seemed like a great idea at the time but, looking back now, I definitely could have done without.
So I’m actually removing my own tattoos too.
A few years ago, I started watching videos about laser tattoo removal. I thought the whole thing was really fascinating.
Watching the laser break down the ink and seeing tattoos slowly disappear had me hooked.
Then I thought:
“Why don’t I actually do this?”
So I decided to completely change careers and give it a crack.
What I didn’t realise was just how much was involved.
There was a hell of a lot of study, training and practical hours involved in getting properly licensed. It was definitely a lot more work than I expected.
But I stuck with it.
For two years I worked full time, studied, trained, practised and kept pushing until I finally got it all done.
As it turns out, I’m actually pretty good at it.
I’ve developed a real passion for the work, and there’s nothing better than seeing someone’s reaction when they start seeing their unwanted tattoo fade.
And that’s how ZAPPIT was born.
No judgement. No bullshit.
I know how it feels to look at a tattoo and think:
“Why the hell did I get that?”
Maybe you got it when you were 18.
